On July 31, 2026, NVIDIA officially launched the Open Secure AI Alliance, a 37-member coalition of technology leaders whose goal is to build an open defense stack for AI agents. Its first technical contribution is NOOA (NVIDIA-Labs Object-Oriented Agents), an open-source framework under the Apache 2.0 license designed to make AI agent behavior easier to test, trace, audit, and govern — available now on GitHub.

The alliance covers the entire AI agent stack: identity, permissions, isolation, guardrails, audit logs, secure model formats, multi-model scanning, and secure coding workflows. Microsoft contributed MDASH, a multi-agent system for detecting exploitable vulnerabilities in code; CrowdStrike added AI-specific attack detection techniques; and SpaceXAI (formerly xAI) open-sourced its Grok Build coding agent and announced plans to release Grok model weights.
